.NAME Domain Name Registrations

Set up in 2001, the .NAME generic TLD is the single TLD intended for personal sites only. These domains can include personal or fictitious names, nicknames and/or other designations people are known by. At the beginning, just third-level registrations were allowed, so if you wished to reserve john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also permitted. Already bought 3rd-level domain names remained running.

Through our company, you can register your dot NAME domain for an interval between one and ten years. You will be able to switch the WHOIS contact information, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an active domain to our firm if you receive its EPP transfer code from the current registrar and we will renew it after the transfer has been finalized. There are no specific terms on who can secure a .NAME domain, but in order to maintain the idea behind its establishment alive, the Registry organization may verify who the owner is and if there is no connection between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration might be challenged.
