Mailing list members are persons that have joined a specific list to receive regular emails, such as weekly newsletters. In case the mailing list manager that is used to manage the list permits it, you can also approve members manually, but in this case such emails may be accepted as unsolicited and reported as spam by the users. Generally, these mailing list members can unsubscribe from a mailing list by clicking a link in the emails they receive, or you, being the mailing list administrator, can manually remove them if they make such a request or if you decide that some of the mailing list members should not be part of the mailing list anymore. Each mailing list member will see only their own email address in the "To" section of the email messages they receive, but not the addresses of the other mailing list members.

Mailing List Members in Hosting

In case you have a hosting with our company and you set up an Internet mailing list, you will be able to administer the mailing list members easily. You do not even need to sign into your Hepsia hosting Control Panel, since you can do everything via email from any location whatsoever. By sending out messages with certain commands to majordomo@yourdomain.com, you will gain access to loads of options offered by our popular Majordomo mailing list client application. You can see a complete list of all present members, or if you need – you can add/remove members. If you add a new email address, the user in question will be informed and will need to confirm that they agree to be included in the list. Removing a mailing list member is also really easy – you’ll only need to send an email to the admin address pertaining to the given mailing list.

Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Servers

With our semi-dedicated servers, there isn’t any limit on the number of mailing list subscribers that you can add. You can manage the subscriptions without difficulty using the Majordomo software application that we provide with every semi-dedicated server account and the moment you set up a brand-new mailing list via the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel, you will be able to approve new subscribers. The latter will receive an email in order to verify that they want to receive your newsletters in the future and as soon as they do that, they will become part of the mailing list. Removing a member or viewing all current mailing list subscribers is also really easy and involves sending an email to the mailing list’s administrator email address, so you will be able to administer everything even if you are not logged into your Control Panel.
